TRUMP EXPLODES: South Africa ACCUSED of SABOTAGE at G20!

A sharp and escalating dispute has erupted between the United States and South Africa surrounding the recent G20 Leaders' Summit in Johannesburg. The conflict centers on a refusal by South African President Cyril Ramaphosa to allow a traditional handover of the G20 presidency to a U.S. representative.

The White House accused Ramaphosa of initially suggesting he would hand the gavel to an “empty chair,” and now of actively obstructing a smooth transition. This follows disagreements over the summit’s concluding declaration, with the U.S. voicing strong objections to its content.

The tension extends beyond procedural matters. South Africa’s Chief Rabbi, Dr. Warren Goldstein, publicly condemned the G20 declaration for its silence on the escalating violence targeting Christians across Africa. He described the omission as a “moral disgrace,” highlighting the widespread Islamist terrorism plaguing nations from Mozambique to Nigeria.

Dr. Goldstein pointed to the recent kidnapping of over 300 schoolgirls and a dozen teachers in Nigeria as a stark example of the crisis ignored by the summit. He passionately questioned the leaders’ inaction, invoking a powerful biblical analogy to underscore the gravity of their silence.

Italy’s President Giorgia Meloni was the sole G20 leader to directly address the issue of Christian persecution, publicly urging Nigeria to bolster protection for religious communities and pursue those responsible for attacks.

Adding to the discord, President Ramaphosa was overheard revealing the finalized 122-point resolution to fellow leaders *before* any formal discussion took place, raising questions about the transparency of the process. The incident was audible to journalists in an adjacent media center.

The U.S. presence at the summit was notably limited, officially listed as “absent” with only the American flag visible in the media center. This symbolic absence underscores the deepening rift between the two nations.

The final G20 declaration included a broad condemnation of attacks on civilians and a reaffirmation of human rights, but offered no specific mention of the religious persecution highlighted by Dr. Goldstein. Requests for comment from the South African government went unanswered.
