RAP STAR GHEtts: HIT-AND-RUN NIGHTMARE ESCALATES!

RAP STAR GHEtts: HIT-AND-RUN NIGHTMARE ESCALATES!

The courtroom was silent as Ghetts, the acclaimed musician and actor, appeared via videolink at the Old Bailey. He now faces additional charges of dangerous driving, stemming from a tragic incident that has shaken a family across continents.

The charges relate to alleged dangerous driving both before and after a collision on October 18th. Prosecutors allege he drove recklessly on Tavistock Place and surrounding roads in Camden, north London, and continued to do so on Worcester Crescent in Redbridge, as he returned home to Woodford.

Police arrived at Clarke-Samuel’s Woodford address the following morning to find a black BMW, registered in his name, bearing significant damage. The vehicle stood as a stark reminder of the events that unfolded.

The hearing took place with members of the Tamang family present, having travelled from Nepal to witness the proceedings. Ghetts simply confirmed his name, his voice echoing in the solemn courtroom.

Judge Nigel Lickley KC set the date for the next hearing – December 8th – when Clarke-Samuel will be required to enter his pleas. He permitted the artist to appear via videolink again and remanded him in custody.

The victim, Yubin Tamang, was an only child, sent by his parents to the UK to pursue an education. He was a promising student at the University of Roehampton, and a passionate musician himself, drawn to the energy of hip-hop.

Yubin’s father shared a heartbreaking tribute, a collection of childhood photos, accompanied by the devastating words: “My little world, all I have left is tears in my hands.” The grief was palpable, a father’s world shattered.

David, a close friend and housemate of Yubin’s, spoke with raw emotion, barely able to articulate his loss. “He was my brother,” he choked out, “a very good person.”

Yubin’s sister, Manita Rai, turned to TikTok, posting a poignant plea for justice. Her message, filled with sorrow, simply asked for accountability for her brother’s death, a desperate cry for solace.

Clarke-Samuel, known for his critically acclaimed albums like *Rebel with a Cause* and *Conflict of Interest*, has collaborated with some of the biggest names in music, including Skepta, Stormzy, and Ed Sheeran. His music has resonated with millions, but now a different narrative unfolds.

He has toured internationally with Kano and was a founding member of the influential grime group Nasty Crew. His talent has been recognized with awards, including a Mobo Award for Best Male Act and a Mercury Prize nomination.

Beyond music, Clarke-Samuel has also ventured into acting, recently appearing in the Netflix drama *Supacell*. His career, once defined by artistic achievement, is now overshadowed by these serious allegations.
