TRUMP'S UKRAINE 'FIX' EXPOSED: Is He About to BETRAY America?

TRUMP'S UKRAINE 'FIX' EXPOSED: Is He About to BETRAY America?

The possibility of peace flickered on the horizon as former President Trump revealed ongoing discussions between Ukraine and Russia, describing the situation as “making progress” despite its inherent complexities. Speaking aboard Air Force One, he offered a rare glimpse into the delicate negotiations unfolding on the world stage.

Trump indicated that a U.S. envoy, Steve Witkoff, was preparing for talks in Moscow, with the potential inclusion of his son-in-law, Jared Kushner. He characterized the conversations as “good,” suggesting a degree of optimism regarding Ukraine’s position at the negotiating table.

Despite the hopeful tone, Trump acknowledged the formidable challenges at play. He reflected on his administration’s experience resolving conflicts, noting a surprising contrast: “I thought this would be one of the easier ones because of my relationship with President Putin, but this is probably one of the more difficult ones.”

A deep-seated animosity fuels the conflict, he explained, creating obstacles beyond simple diplomatic maneuvering. The weight of history and the intensity of feeling were proving to be significant hurdles in reaching a lasting resolution.

Trump highlighted Europe’s crucial role in establishing security assurances for Ukraine, aiming to deter future Russian aggression. The focus, he implied, was on building a framework that could provide lasting stability for the region.

A previously presented 28-point peace proposal had drawn criticism, with some lawmakers labeling it as overly favorable to Russia. Trump, however, downplayed its significance, characterizing it not as a concrete “plan” but as a preliminary “map” – a conceptual starting point for discussion.

He explained that the initial 28 points had already been refined to 22, with many aspects resolved to a positive outcome. The process, he suggested, was one of iterative negotiation and compromise.

While acknowledging the rapid pace of the talks, Trump emphasized that he wasn’t operating under a strict timeline. His sole “deadline,” he stated, was simply “when it’s over” – when a cessation of hostilities could be achieved.

A palpable sense of weariness permeated his remarks, a recognition of the human cost of the conflict. “I think everybody’s tired of fighting at this moment,” he said, “They are losing, losing too many people.”
