”I’ve needed to take this time to really survive the last few weeks, but now I’d love a focus of trying to achieve some baby steps towards bringing a bit of work back in,’ she added.

Elsewhere on her social media, she has been candid about her struggle adjusting to caring for a whole new tiny person.

‘Like I had such, such good intentions of being like “I’m going to go for a walk every morning, get outside, get daylight” and honestly it is just so much harder,’ she wrote in one post.

It has been made all the more challenging by her husband, whom she calls Paddy, returning to work after two weeks of paternity leave.

Although she is also trying to take in early motherhood as best as she can, as she outlined in her most recent post.

‘I don’t want to ever look back and regret not soaking up every second of her being this tiny and squishy.

‘So yes, I hope this is a helpful share for anyone who needs the reassurance that slowing down is ok. Lean in to the cosy days and know our time will come for other things but it isn’t right now,’ she wrote.
