MOTHER MURDERED: Cowardly Driver RUNS—Justice DEMANDED!

The quiet stretch of road in Holystone became a scene of unimaginable sorrow, claiming the life of Claire Laybourne. A vibrant spirit extinguished too soon, her loss has left a void that echoes with the pain of those who loved her.

Claire’s family, in a heartbreaking tribute, described her as a beacon of kindness, a woman whose gentle strength resonated with everyone fortunate enough to cross her path. She wasn’t simply a presence; she *was* the warmth that filled a room, the unwavering force that bound their family together.

Words feel inadequate to express the depth of their grief, a sorrow that eclipses any measure of pain. Claire was more than just a name; she was a mother, a partner, a daughter, an aunt, a friend – a tapestry of love woven into the lives of so many.

It was reported that a Volkswagen T-roc and a Skoda Fabia were both travelling on the Northbound carriageway when they have collided. The driver of the Skoda Fabia did not stop at the scene and is believed to have fled the area on foot, travelling north. Emergency services attended ? where the driver of the Volkswagen T-roc, a woman aged in her 30s, was taken to hospital for treatment of serious injuries. However, despite the efforts of medical staff, the woman ? who can now be named as 39-year-old Claire Laybourne from Hebburn ? sadly died on Saturday.

The family’s statement spoke of a love that will endure, a memory that will forever be cherished. Though their world feels irrevocably altered, they find solace in the knowledge that Claire’s spirit will live on within them, a guiding light in the darkness.

The major road was closed as investigators meticulously examined the scene, piecing together the events that led to this tragedy. A black Skoda Fabia, bearing a 24-plate registration, is central to the ongoing inquiry.

Three men, ranging in age from their twenties to thirties, were initially arrested in connection with the incident. They have since been released on bail, pending further investigation as authorities seek to understand the full circumstances.
