A shadow of financial uncertainty hangs over Richmond, British Columbia, following a landmark court decision recognizing Aboriginal title to a significant land area. The ruling, impacting properties along the Fraser River and Lulu Island, has ignited fears about mortgage renewals, property values, and the future of development in the region.
