Her legal troubles stemmed from administrative issues with her visa, a consequence of moving away from her mother’s residence while attending high school. The situation became public, and Musk responded to a post about her case on his social media platform with a remark that quickly drew widespread criticism.
“8 or above level hotness should get an exemption,” Musk wrote, adding a laughing-crying emoji. The comment was swiftly labeled “creepy” and inappropriate by many online, focusing attention on Morris’ appearance rather than her circumstances.
Morris herself described the situation as “crazy,” admitting she wasn’t entirely surprised given the focus on her looks throughout the ordeal. She noted the narrative had quickly become about her physical appearance, specifically her being “blond and white.”

Despite having family in the United States, Morris considers Denmark her home. She expressed a deep connection to the country, stating she feels “as Danish as a foreigner can possibly be,” highlighting the profound impact of her upbringing.
Musk has remained silent on the matter since deleting his initial post, leaving Morris to navigate the situation and its aftermath while grappling with the unwanted attention and the uncertainty surrounding her future.
