IRAN ERUPTS: Khamenei Declares WAR on His Own People!

A wave of unrest has gripped Iran, prompting a furious response from the nation’s supreme leader, Ali Khamenei. The 86-year-old Ayatollah broke his silence Saturday, addressing the nationwide demonstrations that challenge his regime’s authority and expose deep-seated economic and political grievances.

Khamenei characterized the protesters as “enemy mercenaries” hiding behind legitimate concerns of bazaar merchants, accusing them of attacking the foundations of Islam, Iran, and the Islamic Republic itself. He drew a stark line between acceptable protest and what he labeled as destructive “rioting,” vowing a harsh response to those crossing it.

The leader insisted dialogue is possible with protesters, but dismissed any attempt to reason with those he deemed “rioters,” stating they “must be put in their place.” This hardline stance comes after days of escalating demonstrations and a surprising show of support from the international stage.

President Trump issued an unprecedented message of solidarity Friday, declaring the United States would intervene if Iranian forces violently suppressed peaceful demonstrations. He stated the U.S. was “locked and loaded and ready to go” should bloodshed occur, a statement that undoubtedly fueled the already volatile situation.

Reports indicate a brutal crackdown is already underway. Security forces have reportedly opened fire on protesters in multiple cities, including Malekshahi in Ilam province, leaving a trail of death and injury. At least ten people are confirmed dead as of Saturday, with dozens more critically wounded.

The demonstrations aren’t isolated incidents; they’ve erupted in over 100 locations across 22 of Iran’s 31 provinces. In Kazerun, security forces fired live ammunition into crowds gathered in Shohada Square, while in Shiraz, protesters blocked roads with burning tires, signaling a widespread rejection of the current regime.

The spirit of defiance extends to university campuses. Students at Shahrood University of Technology defiantly chanted, “Students will die but not accept humiliation,” and those at Allameh University in Tehran boldly proclaimed, “Death to the dictator,” demonstrating a willingness to risk everything for change.

Opposition leaders are seizing the moment. Maryam Rajavi, leader of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, responded to Khamenei’s accusations by asserting that all 80 million Iranians oppose his rule. She called for his immediate removal and emphasized the unwavering determination of the uprising.

Reza Pahlavi, son of the last Shah of Iran, echoed this sentiment, urging Khamenei to step down and comparing him to a tyrannical figure from Iranian folklore. He also made a direct appeal to the military and law enforcement, urging them to abandon the regime and join the people’s cause.

Pahlavi warned those who use force against protesters that they will be held accountable, and implored citizens to maintain their presence in the streets, assuring them the world is watching and offering its support. The future of Iran hangs in the balance, as a nation rises up against decades of authoritarian rule.
