TORONTO TERROR: Violent Attacker on the Loose!

A wave of unsettling violence has gripped Toronto, with police investigating a series of unprovoked attacks across the city. Two separate incidents, occurring within minutes of each other, left victims injured but thankfully not facing life-threatening conditions.

The first attack unfolded Wednesday afternoon within the bustling Dufferin Station, deep in the underground mezzanine. A victim was suddenly approached from behind and assaulted with a weapon, sending shockwaves through the transit hub. The assailant immediately fled on foot, disappearing into the city streets.

The suspect, identified as 18-year-old Noah Christopher Chapman, didn’t stop there. Moments later, he allegedly targeted a second individual on Bloor Street West, again launching a surprise attack with an edged weapon before escaping on foot. Authorities emphasize that these assaults were completely random, with no connection between the suspect and either victim.

Chapman is now wanted on serious charges including two counts of aggravated assault, carrying a concealed weapon, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. Investigators are urging anyone with information to come forward.

Just days prior, a separate series of events unfolded, escalating from arson to attempted murder. Police responded to a fire in the Bloor and Bathurst area, quickly followed by a report of a stabbing nearby on College Street.

The suspect, 32-year-old Variant Blutar, allegedly ignited a fire inside a residence before moving to a neighboring home, where a heated argument turned violent. He allegedly assaulted one person with a weapon, and when another intervened, they too were attacked before Blutar fled the scene.

The situation took a dramatic turn when officers located Blutar near Lake Ontario. He entered the water, and during a rescue attempt by an officer, allegedly assaulted the rescuer with a weapon. Both the officer and the victims were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Blutar now faces a multitude of charges, including attempted murder, arson with disregard for human life, and assault. He is also facing charges related to previous probation violations.

Meanwhile, Peel Regional Police are investigating a disturbing case of human trafficking. A 25-year-old man from Mississauga, identified as Hasan Ahmed, has been arrested and charged with multiple offenses related to the exploitation of a woman in the sex trade industry.

Investigators allege Ahmed used a combination of coercion, manipulation, and physical violence to control the victim and profit from her exploitation throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Authorities believe there may be additional victims and are actively seeking information.

Ahmed faces charges including trafficking in persons, exercising control, and receiving benefits from trafficking. The investigation highlights the hidden dangers of human trafficking and the devastating impact it has on vulnerable individuals.

Anyone with information regarding any of these incidents is urged to contact the appropriate police authorities or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
