One student, Omer Furkan Sayar, recounted a desperate escape with a friend, describing how they were forced to jump from a classroom window to evade the gunman. “He suddenly entered the classroom and fired,” Sayar told Anadolu Agency, “He didn't say anything, he entered and started to shoot directly.”
