TRUCK WAR GANGSTER UNMASKED: 2025 SHOOTING SPREE EXPOSED!

TRUCK WAR GANGSTER UNMASKED: 2025 SHOOTING SPREE EXPOSED!

A chilling web of violence connected to Toronto’s escalating tow truck turf war has led to the arrest of Daykwon Joseph, 21, and three others. Joseph, apprehended earlier this month, is now linked to a pair of brazen shootings from last year, incidents that underscore the ruthless nature of the conflict.

The investigation gained momentum on March 16th, when police executed search warrants on a vehicle and a residence in the Wilson Ave.-Keele St. area. The searches yielded three firearms and resulted in the arrests of Joseph, Zahki Wong-Campbell, 18, Tatiana Brown, 20, and Malachi Wong, 21.

The shootings, which occurred on March 4, 2025, began with a pedestrian struck by gunfire in the Weston Rd. and St. Clair Ave. W. area. The attackers then moved to a nearby tow yard, unleashing another volley of shots that left a second victim with life-threatening injuries.

Later that same night, the same suspects relentlessly pursued their targets, ambushing a man washing his car at a gas station on Lawrence Ave. E. and Warden Ave. The victim was shot without warning, suffering serious injuries in the calculated attack.

Investigators believe these incidents are not isolated, but rather part of a larger pattern of violence linked to the ongoing dispute over control of the towing industry. The same suspects are also suspected of involvement in a mass shooting at Scarborough’s Piper Arms pub, where twelve people were injured.

While Joseph hasn’t been charged in connection with the Piper Arms shooting, police are actively working to unravel the connections between these events and others tied to “Project Nighthawk,” an investigation into the tow truck war. This project has already revealed numerous incidents resulting in injuries, but miraculously, no fatalities.

The charges against the arrested individuals are substantial. Joseph faces one count of attempted murder, nineteen firearm-related offences, and three counts of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000. Wong-Campbell is charged with nineteen firearm-related offences, and Brown with eleven.

Malachi Wong remains at large, wanted on ten firearm-related offences. The investigation continues, as authorities seek to bring all those responsible to justice and quell the escalating violence that has gripped the city.

Last June, a significant breakthrough occurred with the arrest of seven men and three boys, accused of involvement in a series of tow-truck related gun crimes that had terrorized Toronto since the spring, including the mass shooting at the Scarborough pub. Over sixty collective charges were laid in that operation.

The brazenness of these attacks, and the interconnectedness of the incidents, paint a disturbing picture of a conflict spiraling out of control. The pursuit of those responsible continues, driven by a determination to restore safety and security to the affected communities.
