THEY LIED. THE FUNNIEST SHOW EVER RETURNS!

THEY LIED. THE FUNNIEST SHOW EVER RETURNS!

Three years after a brilliantly audacious social experiment captivated audiences, the show hailed as “one of the funniest TV shows in recent years” is returning. The premise? Deception, unsuspecting participants, and a whole lot of carefully crafted chaos.

The originalJury Dutycentered on Ronald Gladden, a man who unknowingly served on a fake jury trial. He believed he was fulfilling a civic duty, while everyone around him – including actor James Marsden playing a hilariously exaggerated version of himself – was a paid performer. The show’s reveal was a moment of television history, sparking widespread acclaim and award nominations.

But could lightning strike twice? When creators announced a shift in setting – from the courtroom to a corporate retreat – some fans expressed concern. The unique magic of the first season felt impossible to replicate.

A recently released teaser trailer, however, has quickly quelled those doubts. Social media exploded with positive reactions, with viewers predicting the show might “strike gold twice.” One user described the teaser as “WAY more chaotic than I expected,” while another joked about the potential for mayhem in the first HR meeting.

The new season, officially titledJury Duty Presents: Company Retreat, focuses on Anthony, a recently hired temp at a family-owned hot sauce company. He’s about to discover that his new work environment is anything but ordinary.

Unbeknownst to Anthony, the entire retreat is staged. Every colleague is an actor, and every interaction is meticulously orchestrated. As the company founder prepares to step down, a power struggle erupts, promising a descent into glorious, unpredictable chaos.

'Funniest TV show' is finally back 3 years after tricking one man with fake jury Prime Video

The first three episodes ofJury Duty Presents: Company Retreatwill debut on March 20th, with subsequent episodes rolling out on March 27th and April 3rd. Prepare for a thrilling ride where nothing is as it seems.

The question isn’t whether this show is funny – it’s how far the creators will push the boundaries of reality and deception. And, of course, how Anthony will react when the truth is finally revealed.
