A second note, penned to his former boyfriend, actor Ollie Augustin, desperately sought to absolve him of any blame. It was a final, poignant attempt to shield someone he cared for from the weight of his pain.

Following his departure fromStrictly, Windsor continued to pursue his passion for dance, performing with the Burn The Floor company and sharing his expertise through teaching, even offering classes for same-sex couples. Yet, the underlying pain persisted.
