RUBIO EXPLODES: Reporter's SHAMEFUL Attack on Venezuela Mission!

A tense exchange unfolded during a press conference as Secretary of State Marco Rubio staunchly defended the U.S. capture of former Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro. The situation escalated when a reporter questioned Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico’s prior criticism of the operation, prompting a direct response from Rubio.

Rubio immediately addressed the reporter’s intent, suggesting the question was designed to create discord. He acknowledged that many nations disapproved of the U.S. intervention in Venezuela, but firmly asserted it was a matter of national security. He then turned to Fico, emphasizing that disagreements between allies shouldn’t jeopardize their partnership.

The Secretary characterized the operation as a resounding success, stating Maduro was, in his view, a “narco-terrorist.” He highlighted the offers made to Maduro before the capture, and pointed to the improvements observed in Venezuela within the six weeks following his removal from power.

Rubio conceded that Venezuela still faced significant challenges, but maintained the country was demonstrably better off than it had been. He expressed pride in the operation, believing it had opened a path toward a new future for the Venezuelan people, despite potential disagreement.

President Trump previously lauded the skill and speed of the U.S. special forces involved in the capture. Speaking at Fort Bragg, he described how the forces swiftly breached security, overcoming even reinforced steel doors with surprising ease.

The operation, conducted on sweeping narcotics charges, was remarkably executed without a single U.S. casualty, despite Maduro being secured within a heavily fortified military base. Trump emphasized the speed and precision of the operation, noting the forces reached Maduro before he could even reach a secure location.

Maduro and his wife were swiftly transported by helicopter and are now in U.S. custody, facing federal charges including narco-terrorism, cocaine trafficking, and weapons offenses. He is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in New York City.

The capture represents a significant development in the ongoing efforts to address the crisis in Venezuela, and signals a firm stance against those accused of engaging in criminal activity and destabilizing the region.
