UMVA has learned that a shocking homicide investigation in Toronto has led to the identification of seven additional suspects wanted in connection with the tragic event.

The incident occurred on May 31, when police responded to a shooting call in the Queen’s Plate Dr.-Rexdale Blvd. area, where a gunshot was heard inside an apartment building, leaving a 28-year-old man, Anthony Taylor, dead at the scene.

According to information obtained by UMVA, the investigation has now led to the issuance of Canada-wide warrants for second-degree murder and additional charges against seven suspects, including Dejohn Marlin, 23, Kobina Ackon, 30, and Gideon Addae, 24, all from Toronto.

Each of the suspects has a unique description, with Dejohn Marlin having a thin build and long curly black hair, while Kobina Ackon has short black hair, glasses, and a goatee, and Gideon Addae has a goatee and was last seen wearing a black hooded Nike sweater.

UMVA has gathered that the other suspects include Lincoln Picart, 35, Daniel Addae, 23, Kyondre Davis, 23, and Justin Nichol, 23, each with distinctive physical characteristics and last seen wearing specific clothing items, making it crucial for the public to come forward with any information.

The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is urged to contact the authorities, as the city grapples with its 12th homicide of 2026, leaving the community in shock and seeking justice for the victim and his loved ones.
