Arsenal have made a £5million offer for Leicester City's teenage winger Jeremy Monga, but the Foxes are holding out for a significantly higher fee.
The 16-year-old made seven Premier League appearances for Leicester last season and played 27 times in the Championship in 2025-26.
Leicester are reportedly seeking an initial fee of £10m plus a 15 per cent sell-on clause, and if a transfer fee cannot be agreed, a tribunal would take place where Leicester would receive significant compensation.
Arsenal, however, would prefer to avoid such a scenario and are seeking a swift resolution which would allow Monga to take a full part in pre-season training.
Monga has already attracted interest from the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City, having made his Premier League debut five years and 271 days against Newcastle United in April 2025.
Arsenal are also hopeful of signing Elijah Upson, the son of their former defender Matthew Upson from local rivals Tottenham.
Phoenix Blayney, a 15-year-old goalkeeper from Larne, is also destined to join the Gunners, but it is far from one-way traffic with Arsenal fighting to keep hold of some of their best emerging talent.
Kyren Thompson could make the opposite journey to Upson with Spurs confident of securing a deal for the talented winger, while Emerson Nwaneri, the younger brother of Ethan, is attracting significant interest from elsewhere.
