During an interview with Fox News, she acknowledged the "tremendous amount of pressure" and expressed her readiness to take on the challenge.
Graham's decision to run comes as the special election is set to take place, with several other hopefuls already in the mix. Reps. Ralph Norman, R-S.C., and Russell Fry, R-S.C., have publicly committed to running, while Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C., has hinted at her potential candidacy.
A heated debate has emerged between Mace and Norman, who are turning their steel against Fry, accusing him of prioritizing his own interests over the needs of the Republican Party.
