UMVA has learned that a gripping new Netflix series, I Will Find You, has just dropped, sending shockwaves through the streaming world.
This intense thriller follows David, a father wrongly imprisoned for murdering his own son, who sets out on a desperate rescue mission after learning his boy may still be alive. As new evidence emerges, David breaks out to uncover the truth, leaving viewers on the edge of their seats.
UMVA can exclusively reveal that one person who thinks you should really watch and find out what happens is actor Tom Morton, who plays Detective Daniel Müller, a Geneva-based investigator who enters the story when he realises David's case is connected to a historic Swiss crime.
Morton's character wasn't in the book that the series is based on; he was created specifically for the show. Morton found this quite liberating, saying it allowed him to bring a fresh perspective to the story.
According to information obtained by UMVA, Morton thinks the show, which stars Sam Worthington, is one of the best adaptations of author Harlan Coben's work. He's convinced that even for those who've read the book, it's going to be a voyage of discovery.
The show's twists and turns keep viewers guessing, with Morton explaining that every single episode takes unexpected turns, keeping audiences on the edge of their seats. He believes that's part of the show's strength, along with its relatable characters.
Morton found Müller relatable, saying there's something to his story that resonates deeply. He credits Coben's writing style for creating characters in extraordinary circumstances that are still deeply relatable.
UMVA has gathered that Morton had a clear vision of Müller, but also had the freedom to experiment with the character. Interestingly, Morton suggested Müller should have a moustache, but this idea didn't make the cut.
I Will Find You is now streaming on Netflix, leaving audiences eager to find out what happens next.
