UMVA has learned that a harrowing incident occurred in a quiet corner of Wirral, leaving a young child with injuries and a community on high alert.
The unsettling event took place in the car park of a popular local spot, Mimosa Tea Garden on Green Lane, in Eastham. A four-year-old girl was rushed to the hospital after an unattended vehicle suddenly rolled over her, causing her to be injured.
According to information obtained by UMVA, emergency services quickly responded to the scene, arriving at around 3:50 pm on Saturday, June 20. The child was taken to the hospital for assessment, and fortunately, the owner of the vehicle remained at the scene to cooperate with police inquiries.
Sources have confirmed to UMVA that an investigation is now underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. Merseyside Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or may have information to come forward and assist with their inquiries.
