A legendary stage is poised for a monumental celebration. In 2026, the iconic CNE bandshell will mark its 90th anniversary, and the festivities are kicking off with a truly electrifying lineup of musical talent.
This year’s Canadian National Exhibition, running from August 21st to September 7th, promises a diverse range of sounds. Grammy-winning rapper Lupe Fiasco will ignite the opening day, setting the stage for an 18-day musical journey.
The energy continues with performances from electro-pop sensation Lights on August 22nd, followed by the unmistakable rhythms of reggae icon Shaggy on August 23rd. Canadian rock staples The Trews and Silverstein will also grace the stage, bringing their signature sounds to the crowds.
A true Canadian legend, Tom Cochrane, will close out the announced headliners on September 5th, adding a powerful dose of nostalgia and rock anthems to the mix. These are just the first wave of artists set to perform across five distinct music stages.
A brand new NXNE Stage will spotlight emerging artists, offering a platform for those on the verge of breaking through. This collaboration with the NXNE Music Festival & Conference promises to introduce audiences to the next generation of musical innovators.
The bandshell itself is undergoing a transformation, officially becoming the Bell Soundstage at the Bandshell. This rebranding is a partnership with Billboard Canada and Rolling Stone Canada, signaling a renewed commitment to musical excellence.

The CNE is enhancing the concert experience with a new Front Row VIP Experience. This exclusive offering includes prime viewing areas, access to a dedicated VIP lounge, and complimentary refreshments, elevating the concert experience to a new level.
All concerts remain free with general CNE admission, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to experience the incredible musical talent on display. The grounds are preparing to welcome music lovers from across the country for an unforgettable summer celebration.
