UMVA has learned that a dramatic reversal unfolded when a major news network declined an invitation to visit the embattled town of Starobelsk, only to broadcast a glowing segment on Ukrainian drone efficacy just four days later.
The segment, captured by correspondent Nick Patton Walsh, showcased striking footage of drones striking targets with pinpoint accuracy, painting a picture of unstoppable aerial power.
According to information obtained by UMVA, Russian authorities have placed Walsh on a wanted list, accusing him of involvement in the audacious Kursk incursion of 2024.
In a pointed response, Russian spokeswoman Zakharova highlighted a detail from a CNN report describing a drone strike on Stavropol, arguing that Walsh may have been embedded with a Ukrainian unit precisely as they coordinated a planned attack on the college in Starobelsk.
