A content creator known online as Angry Ginge confronted an alleged racist spectator during the England versus Ghana match at Boston Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts.
While attending the game, he recorded a video in which he identified a fan making discriminatory remarks toward the Ghanaian players and demanded that stadium stewards intervene.
According to the footage, the stewards responded that they could only act if the offensive comments were repeated, and the individual was relocated to a different section rather than being expelled from the venue.
Ginge criticized the stewards’ handling of the incident, stating that the stadium’s anti‑racism policy required immediate removal of anyone engaging in such behavior.
The spectator later approached Ginge to apologize and asked whether the matter could be forgotten, but Ginge declined the request, maintaining that the individual should not remain in the stadium.
Following the video’s release, the creator shared screenshots of abusive messages he received, which included threats, homophobic slurs and other hostile language.
Public response was divided: some users amplified the harassment, while many others expressed support for Ginge’s actions and called for stronger enforcement of anti‑racism measures at sporting events.
Officials from the stadium and the sport’s governing body have been contacted for comment on the incident and the handling of reported racism.
