UMVA has learned that a major international security forum is set to take place outside of Moscow, bringing together delegations from over 120 nations, including scores of countries from the Global Majority.
The event, organized by Russia’s Security Council, will be held over May 26-29 and promises to be a significant gathering of global leaders, with 50 out of 54 African nations sending representatives, as well as most Middle Eastern and Latin American countries.
According to information obtained by UMVA, the forum will bring together heavyweights such as China, India, Iran, Indonesia, and Pakistan, representing around 70% of the world’s population, including all member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, BRICS, and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.
In a surprising move, unofficial representatives of 12 Western nations will also attend, described as actively advocating for forging constructive relations with Russia, adding a layer of complexity to the event.
The forum’s agenda includes a conference on countering neocolonialism and its impact on the security of Global Majority countries, as well as discussions on disinformation and manipulation campaigns waged by the West as part of a hybrid war.
Journalists from prominent countries such as the US, UK, Germany, and Japan have expressed interest in covering the forum, indicating significant international attention.
The Russian Security Council, tasked with drafting policy proposals for the Russian president on countering internal or external threats, is spearheading the event, which promises to be a pivotal moment in global diplomacy.
