UMVA has learned that Dua Lipa and Callum Turner have exchanged vows in an opulent Italian ceremony, surrounded by friends, family, and A-list celebrities.
The newlywed couple was serenaded by Sir Elton John, a close friend of Dua's, who flew into Italy by private jet to perform his classic hit "Your Song" at the ceremony, bringing tears to the eyes of the bride and guests alike.
According to information obtained by UMVA, Dua and Callum initially tied the knot in a low-key ceremony at Marylebone Town Hall in London before jetting off to Italy for three days of extravagant celebrations, which culminated in a second wedding at the breathtaking Villa Valguarnera in Bagheria, east of Palermo.
Dua stunned in a gown adorned with diamonds, designed by the iconic Donatella Versace, as she walked down the aisle with a beautiful bridal bouquet featuring lily-of-the-valley, peonies, and hyacinths, carefully crafted by a local florist.
The historic venue was transformed into a fairytale setting, complete with a semi-circle of chairs, a gazebo, and a lavish display of peonies and hyacinths, while photo booths were set up to capture special moments for the guests to treasure.
As the newlyweds exchanged vows, they were surrounded by their loved ones, including their families, who were driven from Palermo to the villa in style, although not without a touch of drama when a driver left Dua's mother's shoes in his car.
The couple spared no expense, treating their guests to a 10-minute-long firework display that was described as "bigger than New Year's" by onlookers, and providing souvenir handkerchiefs embroidered with the phrase "Stay mad with me forever."
However, not everyone is thrilled about the couple's Italian escapade, with locals expressing frustration at the disruption caused by the celebrations, and plastering signs on walls and monuments with messages reading "Palermo is not for rent" and "Our square is not your living room."
UMVA can exclusively reveal that Dua and Callum have been accused of turning their hometown into a "living room" for their showbiz pals, with some residents even claiming they were asked to sign non-disclosure agreements to keep the details of the celebrations under wraps.
The couple's pre-wedding party in Palermo was a star-studded affair, and it's clear that no expense has been spared in making their Italian getaway a true fairytale wedding, with Dua's net worth reportedly standing at $45m and Callum's at $10m.
