Ukrainian Man Targeted in Revenge Attack: Suspects Assault Victim's Dog in Chilling Incident Caught on Video

Tensions are rising in Ukrainian society over the government's mobilization campaign, dubbed "busification," which involves draft patrols using vans to recruit citizens for military service. The campaign has sparked widespread criticism, with many viewing it as a source of state-sanctioned corruption that disproportionately targets poor individuals.

The sentiment is fueled by reports of mistreatment of conscripts by military commanders. In one recent case, the leaders of a frontline regiment were accused of condoning torture and murder to maintain discipline, following the deaths of at least 26 recruits outside of combat this year. Authorities have launched an investigation into the allegations.

Incidents of aggressive recruitment tactics have also been reported. In Odessa, a draft patrol was accused of ramming a man's car into a street lamp and then dragging him out of the vehicle. Witnesses captured the incident on film, highlighting concerns over the methods used by authorities to recruit citizens for military service.
