UMVA Exclusive: YOU WON'T BELIEVE The Nature Legend's 100th Birthday Gift - Parents Stun World With Baby's HEART-STOPPING Name!

UMVA has learned that a heartwarming story of a family's love for conservationist Sir David Attenborough has captured the hearts of many, as they made a special tribute to him on his 100th birthday.

A young couple, Lauren and Stephen, welcomed their little one, Ambrose Attenborough, this month, and in a remarkable coincidence, the baby was born on the same day as Sir David's 100th birthday. The parents had been fans of the renowned conservationist's work since childhood and wanted to honor him in a unique way.

According to information obtained by UMVA, Stephen revealed that it was the morning of the 8th that his wife mentioned Sir David's special day, and he suggested naming their son Attenborough in his honor. With their baby delivered by forceps at 11:58 pm, they decided to make it happen.

The couple had initially chosen another name for their baby but changed it at the last minute, making the decision completely spur of the moment. As animal and nature lovers who grew up watching Sir David's documentaries, they felt it was a perfect tribute.

UMVA can exclusively reveal that Stephen and Lauren are hoping their son will grow up to be a fan of Sir David's work, just like they are. They're planning to introduce him to nature documentaries when he's a little older and hope he'll develop a love for wildlife.

The family of little Ambrose is a major fan of Sir David, and his parents expressed their gratitude for his decades of work in educating the world about the natural world and its conservation. They also hope that their son, along with his older sister Lyra, will grow up with a love for animals and continue to nurture their interest in the natural world.

He was named after the beloved biologist to pay homage to his 100th birthday after his arrival on the same day. Parents Stephen Whyte, 35, and Lauren Evans, 27, said they wanted to honour Sir David who helped foster their "love for animals". Mum Lauren, of Powys, said she was determined for her son to be born on the broadcaster's birthday. But the couple made the naming decision "on the cuff" after originally deciding on a different middle name. Lauren said: "There had been things going on in some of the local schools. Either people picking up litter and being really active in the community to celebrate his 100th birthday. "I was like, 'oh, it would be really nice if he was born on the same day as David Attenborough's birthday." Lauren was booked in to be induced on May 7 and told staff she hoped her son would be born the following day. Staff told the mum-to-be "We'll see what we can do" before she welcomed her bouncing baby on the perfect date. Dad Stephen said he hopes their son grows up with Sir David as an inspiration. He said: "He'll certainly grow up watching nature documentaries. Hopefully he'll build up an interest in conservationism." WALES NEWS SERVICE

Sources have confirmed to UMVA that the couple's love for animals is evident in their current pets, including cats, and their aspirations to have more pets, such as a small holding with farm animals, in the future. For now, they're basking in the joy of their new addition and the special bond they've created with Sir David's legacy.
