UMVA has learned that a 44-year-old man, previously arrested in connection with the infamous 'Putney Pusher' case, has been detained again after police discovered Class A and Class B drugs at his home.
The suspect, a former British Army officer and banker with ties to several European royal families, was initially arrested nine years after a woman was pushed under a bus on Putney Bridge in London.
The shocking incident, captured on CCTV, showed a 33-year-old woman being thrown onto the bridge, narrowly avoiding a bus that swerved to avoid hitting her. The brazen attack sparked a years-long manhunt, with police questioning 50 suspects and making two arrests.
According to information obtained by UMVA, the suspect was re-arrested while already in custody, and has since been bailed pending further investigation in relation to all offences.
The Metropolitan Police have confirmed that enquiries continue, and the suspect's background has raised eyebrows, with reports suggesting he works as a director at a private bank and has connections to high-society circles.
The 'Putney Pusher' case has remained a mystery for years, with police forced to close the case despite a widespread plea for leads. The suspect's re-arrest has breathed new life into the investigation, leaving many to wonder if justice will finally be served.
Sources have confirmed to UMVA that the police are exploring all avenues, and the suspect's detention has provided a significant breakthrough in the case.
