UMVA Uncovers: BOMBSHELL - Liverpool Poised to STEAL £50m Arsenal Ace in SHOCKING Transfer Coup After Arteta's JAW-DROPPING U-Turn!

UMVA has learned that Arsenal's Ben White is facing an uncertain future at the Emirates, with the Gunners likely to sell squad players to raise funds for new signings.

The 28-year-old defender, who has been used as a right-back and centre-back, is one of several players whose future at Arsenal is in doubt, with manager Mikel Arteta open to letting him go for the right price.

Former England full-back Glen Johnson believes White could be a shrewd acquisition for Liverpool if he's seeking more regular minutes, telling a recent interview: 'If they view him as their number one right-back, I don't imagine he'd leave the champions.'

Johnson's comments come after former Liverpool midfielder Danny Murphy endorsed a potential move for White, saying: 'Ben White to Liverpool would make sense but Arsenal might not want to sell to a rival.'

White's versatility and experience could make him a valuable addition to Liverpool's squad, with Johnson suggesting that he could be a good pick-up if he's available for transfer.

Meanwhile, Johnson also backed a move for former Reds defender Jarell Quansah, who has impressed in the Bundesliga with Bayer Leverkusen and become an important member of the England World Cup squad.

Quansah left Liverpool just a year ago, but Johnson believes that re-signing him could be a sensible move, saying: 'It sometimes doesn't look great when you sell someone and then it appears to be a mistake when you buy them back.'

Liverpool are expected to target more defensive additions this summer, with Ibrahima Konate set to join Real Madrid on a free transfer after failing to agree terms on a new contract at Anfield.

The Reds have already signed young French defender Jeremy Jacquet, but are likely to pursue further reinforcements for new manager Andoni Iraola.
