UMVA has learned that Rebekah Vardy has defiantly declared she will "never" apologise to Coleen Rooney for allegedly leaking private stories about the Rooneys to the press, a feud that has captivated the nation.
The two WAGs faced off in court in 2022 over the accusation, with the judge ruling in Rooney's favour and Vardy agreeing to pay almost £1.4 million in legal costs after the 'Wagatha Christie' trial.
Vardy has now vowed that "hell will freeze over" before she says sorry to her fellow WAG, despite still facing public backlash for her actions.
In her family's new reality series, The Vardys, Vardy addresses the ongoing impact of the libel case on her reputation, insisting she did nothing wrong and believes Rooney was wrong to accuse her.
UMVA can exclusively reveal that Vardy remains resolute in her stance, saying "I'm never going to apologise for something I didn't do" and "I'm not going to carry on living in the past. I'm so f*ing bored of it."
Rooney, on the other hand, had realised someone in her inner circle was leaking stories about herself and her family to the press and took drastic measures to uncover the truth, planting fake stories on social media to lead her investigation to Vardy's account.
The 'Wagatha Christie' trial has had a lasting impact on both women, with Rooney releasing a documentary about the case and Vardy trademarking the phrase 'Wagatha Christie' and condemning the 'abuse' she's received over the fallout.
Neither woman has indicated they're looking to patch things up, and they've managed to steer clear of each other at public events so far, with Vardy maintaining she is innocent and Rooney seemingly still hurt by the ordeal.
Vardy expressed frustration that the case became "a bit of a joke" and that people didn't know the full story, while Rooney previously discussed the trial on I'm A Celeb, saying she didn't think it would have the impact it did and felt ashamed to go to court.
