Trump unlikely to survive health crisis, says Rosie O'Donnell.

Comedian Rosie O'Donnell recently made headlines with remarks predicting the death of President Donald Trump, stating he would not survive beyond 2028. Her comments were delivered after a return trip to the United States from Ireland.

O'Donnell had been living in Ireland since 2025, where she had pursued a one-woman theatrical production that opened off‑Broadway on July 22. She said she would consider returning to the U.S. once equal rights for all citizens were assured.

She claimed that Trump’s health is deteriorating, describing his demise as visible and apparent to anyone who is not willfully blind. O'Donnell referenced medical opinions that support her assessment.

O'Donnell cited recent remarks made by Trump, such as calling Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky “President Putin” at a NATO summit and referring to Iran as the “Islamic Republic of Japan.” She said these statements illustrate a pattern of dementia‑like behavior.

She compared the president’s mistakes to dangerous errors that should not be tolerated, even in family settings. O'Donnell underscored the need for caution and vigilance regarding the current administration’s conduct.
