The former home of Jamie Varley and John McGowan-Fazakerley in Grimsargh, Lancashire, has been put back on the market for £370,000.
The listing includes a warning for potential buyers about the property's former owners, stating that one of them is currently serving a custodial sentence following a conviction for offences involving a minor.
The vendor notes that the offences were not committed at the property and that the information is being provided in the interests of transparency, allowing prospective purchasers to make an informed decision.
The property's complex and disturbing history is tied to the tragic case of Preston Davey, a baby who was subjected to three months of torture and abuse at the hands of Varley and McGowan-Fazakerley, his adoptive parents.
Preston's birth mother, Sarah Davey, was previously jailed for murdering a pensioner in 1998, while his father was serving a prison sentence for a racially aggravated attack.
Varley and McGowan-Fazakerley were initially foster parents, but were later approved for adoption and took care of Preston.
A trial at Preston Crown Court revealed that Preston suffered physical, mental, and sexual abuse at the hands of his adoptive parents, resulting in his death at Blackpool Victoria Hospital.
Varley was recently handed a whole life order after being convicted of murder, sexual offences, grievous bodily harm, and indecent images, while McGowan-Fazakerley was jailed for 25 years for causing or allowing the death of a child, cruelty, and sexual assault.
