Ariana Grande has been forced to reschedule three shows on her Eternal Sunshine Tour due to production and safety concerns.
The pop star, who has been making a highly anticipated return to the stage after several years away from touring, was set to perform in New York and Boston.
However, a series of issues has arisen, including a video of a hidden lift getting stuck as Ariana and her dancers emerged from the stage, as well as minor problems with screens cutting out and the opening curtain being too close to the dancers.
Ariana took to social media to apologize for the scheduling changes, stating that the utmost important thing to her is safety and ensuring that the show runs as intended.
The rescheduled dates include a July 14 performance at New York's Barclays Center, which was originally set for July 12, as well as July 23 and July 26 shows at Boston's TD Garden, which were originally scheduled for July 22 and July 24.
Tickets will be honored for the rescheduled shows, but frustrated fans have expressed disappointment and frustration at having purchased hotels and travel for the original dates.
Ariana is set to continue her tour with a 10-night London residency in August, beginning on August 15 at the O2 Arena, and is also due to appear in a theatre production in London.
