New photographs released by police show a man believed to be a fugitive in connection with a double homicide.
The images depict the individual smiling, wearing a black T‑shirt with a red and white insignia and shorts. A small cut is visible on the inside of his left knee.
The suspect is wanted for the murder of his parents, Carol and Garwood Sangwin, who were found with blunt‑force trauma at their home in Mississauga on June 18. The victims were described as warm and humorous by relatives.
Police describe the suspect as a 46‑year‑old white male of medium build, short salt‑and‑pepper hair, clean‑shaven, last seen wearing a grey long‑sleeve shirt and dark shorts, carrying a black duffle bag.
He was last observed walking away from the crime scene in Port Credit and has not been seen in public transit since. A security camera captured him near Ormskirk Park on June 22, and a clearer image from June 21 shows him in an undisclosed Etobicoke location.
Searches continue around Morningside Avenue, South Kingsway, and High Park, with investigators believing he may be surviving outdoors. Police urge residents in the area to avoid contact and to call emergency services if encountered.
The suspect reportedly has no prior criminal record, was in between jobs, and is familiar with the Lake Ontario shoreline. He is believed to have traveled from Mississauga to Toronto after the killings.
Authorities have been pursuing the suspect for ten days and remain determined to apprehend him. The public is encouraged to remain vigilant and report any sightings promptly.
