IRAN ATTACKED A US LAWMAKER! Details EXPOSED.

A Florida congressman, Randy Fine, became the target of a sophisticated phishing scheme allegedly orchestrated by an Iranian state actor. The attempt cleverly disguised itself as an interview request from a television network, aiming to compromise his personal email account.

The scheme involved a meticulously crafted email, appearing to originate from a legitimate news source, designed to lure his staff into clicking malicious links. Fortunately, a staff member noticed inconsistencies before any sensitive information was exposed, recognizing that the provided links were non-functional.

This incident unfolded shortly after the United States initiated military strikes against Iran, leading Fine to believe the timing was far from coincidental. He suspects a direct connection between the escalating conflict and the cyberattack targeting him personally.

U.S. intelligence officials have expressed growing concern over potential cyber and physical threats linked to the U.S.-Iran conflict, particularly against prominent political figures. This attack underscores those anxieties, highlighting the vulnerability of individuals involved in high-stakes geopolitical events.

The FBI had previously confirmed a similar breach targeting Kash Patel, a former official, attributed to the Iran-linked "Handala Hack Team." While that breach involved primarily historical data, it demonstrated the group’s capabilities and intent.

Capitol Police alerted Fine to the potential Iranian origin of the attack, prompting him to report the incident to the FBI. Agents indicated they were already tracking these specific actors within Iran, suggesting a pattern of activity.

A review of the fraudulent email revealed a subtle misspelling in the domain name, “news-max.org,” a key indicator of the impersonation. Further investigation by Capitol Police suggested possible involvement from the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.

Fine believes he was specifically targeted due to his outspoken stance on Israel and his prominent position as a Jewish Republican politician. He expressed concern that even limited access to his Google account could reveal his location, raising fears for his personal safety.

Beyond the phishing attempt, Fine has experienced a recent increase in threats, including verbal harassment and a separate incident involving an impersonator approaching his home. This escalating pattern of intimidation has created a deeply stressful situation.

Known for his strong advocacy for aggressive action in Gaza and his support for former President Trump’s policies in the Middle East, Fine has consistently positioned himself as a staunch defender of Israel. He views the conflict with Iran as a battle for western civilization.

Fine publicly praised the recent strikes on Iran, framing them as a necessary step to dismantle terrorism and bring peace to the region. His unwavering commitment to these positions likely contributed to his being singled out as a target.

The FBI has declined to comment on the ongoing investigation, but sources confirm they swiftly responded to Fine’s report and are actively pursuing the matter. The full extent of the probe and its potential findings remain unknown.
