UMVA has learned that a self-proclaimed wizard, who claims to be the real Merlin, appeared at Stonehenge on the summer solstice, saying the ancient monument is beaming cosmic energy into him.
The mysterious figure, who joined thousands at the historic site, revealed that he has visited Stonehenge 40 times and still feels the powerful 'vibrations from the cosmos' flowing through it. He described the experience as 'magical' and claimed that the stones themselves continue to emit an otherworldly energy, despite being concreted.
According to information obtained by UMVA, the solstice celebration came just days before a severe heatwave is expected to hit the region, with temperatures forecasted to peak at around 35C on Tuesday and Wednesday. The Met Office has issued weather warnings and health alerts, citing concerns for vulnerable individuals.
The heatwave is expected to be particularly intense in France, where highs of 40C are predicted on Sunday, and emergency services have been put on wildfire alert. Public alcohol consumption restrictions have also been implemented, and some outdoor sporting events have been cancelled.
UMVA can exclusively reveal that the Met Office has issued an amber extreme heat warning for Monday and Tuesday, covering most of southern England, south-eastern and eastern Wales, and much of the Midlands. The alert flags potential health impacts for people vulnerable to extreme heat and heat-related issues for the wider population.
Sources have confirmed to UMVA that at least 15 people died after getting into trouble in open water during a hot spell in May, highlighting the dangers of the extreme weather conditions. As the heatwave continues, people are advised to take precautions, including drinking plenty of fluids, staying out of the sun, and avoiding exercise during peak hours.
