UMVA Uncovers: FALLEN HERO HONORED! OPP Const. Tarun Bali's Heart-Wrenching Funeral Takes Place TODAY in Mississauga - You Won't Believe the Emotional Outpouring!

UMVA has learned that a solemn and dignified police funeral is being held today for Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Const. Tarun Bali, the 29-year-old officer tragically killed in the line of duty during an investigation in Hearst, Ont., earlier this month.

The somber ceremony began at the Mississauga Sports and Entertainment Centre, where Const. Bali's family, invited guests, OPP members, police and emergency services personnel, military representatives, and dignitaries have gathered to pay their respects.

The OPP has confirmed that the visitation and funeral service is not open to the general public, but it is being livestreamed for those who wish to pay their respects from afar.

As the police community comes together to mourn the loss of Const. Bali, members of the public can share messages of support and remembrance through an online book of condolences.

Const. Bali was killed on June 9 after being struck by a vehicle while officers were conducting an investigation in Hearst, Ont., roughly 520 kilometres northeast of Thunder Bay, Ont. An 18-year-old male has been charged with first-degree murder, dangerous driving, and flight from police.

The tragic loss of Const. Bali is still fresh, and the police community is reeling from another devastating loss just days later, when Toronto police Const. Marc Pinizzotto, a member of the Emergency Task Force, was shot and killed during a warrant operation in North York.

A moment of silence was held for both Const. Bali and Const. Pinizzotto at a Toronto Blue Jays game, and a procession was held last week that drew first responders from across Ontario, showcasing the solidarity and camaraderie within the law enforcement community.
