ROYAL FAMILY UNDER SIEGE: Palace Intruder Stalked Kate & William!

ROYAL FAMILY UNDER SIEGE: Palace Intruder Stalked Kate & William!

A man now in custody faced a judge after allegedly breaching security at Kensington Palace not once, but twice in a matter of days. The incidents occurred on December 21st and 23rd, raising serious questions about palace security protocols during the holiday season.

Derek Egan, 39, was charged with trespassing on a protected site and violating existing bail conditions. During his appearance at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on December 24th, the judge denied him bail, citing significant security concerns.

The court heard that further consultation with the Attorney General is required before any decision on prosecution can be made. This suggests the breaches are being treated with the utmost seriousness, potentially extending beyond a simple trespassing charge.

Kensington Palace, while officially the residence of the Prince and Princess of Wales and their children, has been largely occupied by other members of the royal family in recent years. The Wales family currently resides at Anmer Hall in Norfolk.

However, the palace grounds are still home to the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, who live in the Old Stables. Princess Eugenie and her family also reside within the palace complex, at Nottingham Cottage, meaning the intrusions occurred in a populated area.

Authorities have not yet confirmed whether any royals were present on the grounds during either of Egan’s alleged breaches. The timing of the incidents, so close to Christmas, adds another layer of concern regarding the safety of those residing within the palace walls.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed Egan’s arrest on suspicion of trespassing in Palace Green, Kensington, but details surrounding his motivations remain unclear. The investigation is ongoing, and officials are meticulously reviewing security measures to prevent future incidents.
