OREGON PURGE: 800,000 Voters ERASED – Judicial Watch WINS!

OREGON PURGE: 800,000 Voters ERASED – Judicial Watch WINS!

The fight for election integrity took a significant turn when, in June 2025, Tom Fitton of Judicial Watch announced a lawsuit against the state of Oregon. The target: outdated and inaccurate voter rolls that threatened the fairness of the democratic process.

Fitton revealed that Judicial Watch had already spearheaded the removal of four million questionable names from voting rolls across the country in the preceding two years. However, he emphasized that the work was far from over, and Oregon presented a particularly troubling case of neglect.

The lawsuit, filed in conjunction with the Constitution Party of Oregon and Oregon Voters, highlighted a disturbing pattern. An investigation revealed that 29 out of Oregon’s 36 counties had removed a negligible number of registrations, despite federal law mandating reasonable efforts to maintain accurate lists.

The data painted a stark picture: Oregon, along with 35 of its counties, reported voter registration rates exceeding 100%. This anomaly pointed to a critical flaw – a shockingly high number of inactive and potentially ineligible voters remaining on the rolls. Fitton warned that “dirty voting rolls can mean dirty elections.”

Oregon’s inactive registration rate was, in fact, the highest known in the nation. The organization argued that the state was failing to fulfill its legal obligation to ensure the integrity of its voter database, jeopardizing the validity of future elections.

Judicial Watch wasn’t limiting its efforts to Oregon. Concurrent lawsuits were already underway in California and Illinois, all aimed at compelling states to comply with federal election laws and remove ineligible voters. The goal was ambitious: to purge millions of names from the rolls nationwide.

Then, a breakthrough. On Monday, news arrived that the Oregon Secretary of State had announced the removal of 800,000 names from the state’s voter rolls. This development was a direct result of the pressure applied by Judicial Watch’s legal action.

The victory in Oregon pushed the total number of names targeted for removal nationally to an astounding 5.8 million. Fitton and Judicial Watch remained steadfast in their commitment, continuing to pursue legal avenues to safeguard the integrity of elections across the country.
