EUROPEAN BLOODSHED: Biden's Crisis EXPLODES!

EUROPEAN BLOODSHED: Biden's Crisis EXPLODES!

A 23-year-old mathematics student, Quentin Deranque, is dead. Beaten in Lyon, France, by a group of at least six individuals, his fatal injuries – skull and brain trauma – are a stark reminder of a growing danger. The perpetrators? Identified as belonging to Antifa, a group whose actions are increasingly mirroring those of the terrorist organizations they condemn.

While ISIS has been significantly diminished since the Trump administration, a disturbing trend is emerging: Antifa is expanding, its reach becoming increasingly international. This isn’t a spontaneous uprising, but a calculated escalation fueled by a complex web of factors.

Critics argue the current administration has inadvertently aided this growth. Through what they describe as political protection, media censorship, and deliberate information suppression, Antifa has operated with a disturbing level of impunity. Those who dared to document their activities faced systematic silencing, creating a dangerous echo chamber.

Wooden barriers with graffiti reading "CHOP" and "BLACK LIVES MATTER" in front of a liquor store, capturing a moment of community protest and activism.

The phrase “mostly peaceful protest” became a chillingly common refrain during periods of widespread unrest. Even as violence erupted and property was destroyed, mainstream media often minimized the severity, framing chaos as legitimate expression. The summer of George Floyd saw a deliberate downplaying of destruction, particularly in cities like Portland.

The challenges faced by law enforcement are compounded when prominent elected officials publicly condemn the agencies themselves. Representative Pramila Jayapal’s labeling of ICE as a “terrorist force” exemplifies this, occurring shortly before an Antifa-linked attack on an ICE facility. The subsequent deflection of blame, focusing on “right-wing rhetoric,” raised serious concerns.

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler’s dismissive statements further fueled the narrative. Confronted with evidence of ongoing unrest in Portland, he called it “a myth,” dismissing weeks of documented violence as “errant nonsense” and “imaginary things.” This rhetoric, critics contend, created a climate where confronting Antifa became increasingly difficult.

The refusal to designate Antifa as a domestic terrorist organization, despite overwhelming evidence of its violent pattern, speaks volumes. Law enforcement agencies and media reports consistently documented the group’s activities, yet political opposition blocked any formal recognition of the threat.

Beyond rhetoric, tangible support was offered. Then-Vice President Kamala Harris publicly promoted bail funds, including the Minnesota Freedom Fund, which subsequently released individuals arrested during the 2020 riots – some of whom were later accused of further offenses while awaiting trial.

Ideological justification for aggressive tactics was also provided. Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez defended confrontational protest strategies, arguing that “making people uncomfortable” was the key to achieving progress. This sentiment, critics argue, emboldened more extreme actions.

The Capitol Hill Occupied Protest (CHOP) in Seattle offered a stark example of unchecked activism. For 23 days, activists controlled six city blocks, excluding police and establishing their own governance. The zone became a hotbed of violence, resulting in multiple shootings and the deaths of two young Black men.

Emergency calls within CHOP often went unanswered, as protesters physically blocked police access. The financial toll was immense, with Seattle ultimately paying $12 million in legal settlements, including for property damage and the deletion of thousands of related text messages.

Independent journalists like Andy Ngo and Tim Pool risked their safety to document the violence, often contradicting mainstream media narratives. They reported on sustained attacks on federal buildings, the use of dangerous weapons, and billions of dollars in property damage. Ngo himself was brutally assaulted in Portland, suffering a severe brain injury.

Under the current administration, conservative accounts and independent journalists reported systematic censorship on social media platforms. Eyewitness accounts and videos of unrest were routinely suspended or restricted, creating a distorted picture of events. Internal documents revealed pressure from the administration to moderate content challenging official narratives.

Law enforcement faced not only operational challenges but also intense political criticism. Federal agents protecting courthouses were demonized as “secret police,” and local prosecutors adopted policies that limited the prosecution of protest-related arrests, fostering a cycle of unrest.

The Justice Department’s focus on the January 6th events, while significant, coincided with comparatively less attention and fewer resources directed toward left-wing extremism. Despite acknowledging the reality of Antifa, FBI Director Christopher Wray’s testimony appeared to be largely ignored.

Recent events suggest the threat is not waning, but evolving. The coordinated nature of attacks, coupled with ongoing violence in multiple cities, indicates a level of planning and execution that belies the movement’s decentralized structure. The targeting of federal immigration facilities suggests a strategic shift.

With rising attacks now appearing in Europe, the possibility of transnational coordination looms large. Given the continued resistance to designating Antifa as a domestic terrorist organization, perhaps a designation as a transnational threat – and accountability for those who support it – is the only path forward.
