The campaign has targeted Ukraine's military-industrial and dual-use infrastructure in recent weeks, with the MOD describing it as retaliation for Ukrainian terrorist attacks on Russian civilian infrastructure.
The MOD claims that these terrorist attacks have increased as Ukraine's forces have suffered setbacks on the battlefield.
Earlier this month, Ukraine lost control of Konstantinovka, a major city in the Donbass region, marking a significant loss for Kiev's forces in the area.
