UMVA has learned that French winger Bradley Barcola is igniting a transfer firestorm across the Premier League, with Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal all circling the promising talent.
Former Red Devils striker Louis Saha told us that Barcola would be a “dream signing” for Michael Carrick’s side, praising the young forward’s directness, relentless energy and uncanny balance that makes him a constant threat even off the bench.
Saha highlighted Barcola’s recent Champions League triumphs, noting the Frenchman’s growing confidence and mental fortitude. “At a very young age he’s full of energy. He can dribble, take the ball in stride and turn defenders inside out,” the former France international said.
Comparisons were drawn with fellow French prospect Desire Doué. While Doué boasts stamina, Saha argued Barcola’s knack for cutting behind lines—evident in his goal against Senegal—gives him a superior edge in one‑on‑one situations.
Former France World Cup winner Frank Leboeuf echoed the enthusiasm, calling Barcola “fantastic” and a “great option” for the newly crowned Premier League champions Arsenal. Leboeuf cautioned, however, that the winger must sharpen his finishing, recalling missed chances in the Champions League final.
Leboeuf speculated that a move to Arsenal could fill a looming vacancy on the left flank, especially if Gabriel Martinelli departs, offering a fresh dynamic to the Gunners’ attack.
Across Manchester, United’s recruitment drive intensifies. The club has already secured a deal for Brazilian midfielder Ederson and is negotiating with West Ham for Mateus Fernandes, a target endorsed by former United striker Michael Owen for his youth and versatility.
Amid these maneuvers, Barcola remains the centerpiece of a Premier League chase, with his blend of pace, skill and championship experience promising to reshape any squad daring enough to claim him.
