Hollywood REBELS: Stars DECLARE WAR on ICE at Golden Globes!

Hollywood REBELS: Stars DECLARE WAR on ICE at Golden Globes!

Beverly Hills hosted the 83rd Golden Globes on Sunday, but the evening quickly became about more than just accolades and entertainment.

A striking visual statement unfolded on the red carpet as several prominent actors chose their attire to convey a powerful political message. Small, circular pins appeared on lapels, transforming the glamorous event into a platform for protest.

The pins bore two distinct phrases: “Be Good,” a tribute to Renee Good, a woman recently fatally shot after an encounter with an ICE agent, and “Ice Out,” a direct condemnation of Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Actors including Mark Ruffalo, Ariana Grande, Jean Smart, Wanda Sykes, and Natasha Lyonne visibly displayed the emblems.

Mark Ruffalo, a longtime vocal critic of current policies, didn’t shy away from using his platform to express his discontent. Before the ceremony, he spoke passionately about the climate of fear he believes is gripping the nation.

“This is for her,” Ruffalo stated, gesturing to the pin honoring Renee Good. “This is for the people in the United States who are terrorized and scared today. I love this country, and what I’m seeing here happening is not America.” He emphasized the unusual nature of blending celebration with protest.

Ruffalo’s criticism extended beyond ICE, focusing intensely on the former president. He described a dangerous disregard for international law and levied deeply personal accusations.

“We’re in the middle of a war with Venezuela that we illegally invaded,” Ruffalo asserted. He continued with scathing remarks, labeling the former president a “convicted felon, a convicted rapist,” and ultimately, “the worst human being.”

The actor’s words painted a stark picture of his concern, suggesting a profound crisis for the nation if leadership is guided by what he considers a deeply flawed moral compass.
