DEMOCRAT'S SHOCKING TIES TO HAMAS EXPOSED!

DEMOCRAT'S SHOCKING TIES TO HAMAS EXPOSED!

A California congressman is now facing intense scrutiny after inviting leaders from a controversial organization to his Capitol Hill office. The meeting, held last week, involved representatives from the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), a group that has ignited fierce debate over its alleged ties to terrorism.

The invitation occurred during “National Muslim Advocacy Day,” an annual event where Muslim advocacy groups lobby lawmakers. Congressman Derek Tran publicly welcomed the CAIR delegation, framing the meeting as a discussion about combating Islamophobia and protecting civil rights for all.

However, CAIR’s presence is deeply contentious. Both Texas and Florida have officially designated the organization as a terrorist entity, citing concerns about its financial support for Hamas. This designation has prompted CAIR to file defamation lawsuits against the governors of those states.

Among those attending the meeting was Hussam Ayloush, the executive director of CAIR’s Los Angeles chapter. Ayloush has a history of provocative statements regarding Israel, including a past declaration that “Israel should be attacked.”

Ayloush publicly praised the meeting with Tran, noting the congressman had quickly gained respect within his district. This statement quickly became a focal point of criticism as social media users reacted with outrage, accusing Tran of supporting terrorism.

The controversy is further complicated by CAIR’s involvement in Tran’s recent election. The organization actively supported his campaign, playing a role in his narrow victory over Republican Michelle Steel in a closely contested race.

CAIR has consistently adopted positions critical of Israel. Following the October 7th Hamas attack, Ayloush asserted that Israel has no right to defend itself, claiming that only the occupied – in this case, Palestinians – possess that right.

He doubled down on his earlier statement, reiterating that any means of resisting occupation, “according to international law,” is justifiable. These remarks have fueled accusations of anti-Israel bias and sympathy for violent resistance.

Other CAIR leaders have echoed similar sentiments. Nihad Awad, CAIR’s executive director, reportedly expressed approval of the October 7th attack, stating he was “happy to see the people of Gaza break the siege.”

The organization’s history is also under scrutiny. In 2007, CAIR was named an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation (HLF) trial. The HLF’s five members were convicted of conspiring to funnel over $12 million to Hamas in the early 2000s.

This past connection to a convicted terrorist financing operation continues to cast a long shadow over CAIR, raising serious questions about the judgment of the congressman who chose to host its leaders.
